2) On-Site Meeting
We will meet to view site to evaluate size and scope for design estimate. We will work together to outline your objectives and collect any additional information
3) Design Proposal Meeting
We will review the design proposal and go over the proposed objectives and estimate for design. Once the contract agreement is signed and a retainer is placed, the design project will begin.
Each project is unique and the design process is tailored to the individual project, however below are general guidelines of a typical project.
1) Site Analysis
We will take measurements, photos, and site-specific observations such as sun/shade requirements, view sheds to preserve, drainage, etc. Data is collected for base plan and design.
2) Conceptual Design
A base plan will be drawn if not provided by an architect or surveyor and the first design concept will be drawn. Inspiration photos and drawings provided as needed or specified.
3) Conceptual Review Meeting
We present design concept and discuss style, layout, function, palettes, etc. Plans will be left with the client for review and feedback.
4) Feedback & Final Revisions
The final design plans will be drawn out. Plant palettes, color schemes and materials will be specified.
5) Final Design Meeting
We will present the final plans and make any appropriate adjustments needed before plans are passed to the contractor or client.
